Steven Shary Obituary
1962 - 2019
Steven John "Sooch" Shary, age 56, died unexpectedly Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at his Laguna Beach, CA home. Steve is a 1980 graduate of Upper Arlington High School, attended BGSU and The Ohio State University. He is survived by his son, Ryan Shary; stepson, Charles Taylor; parents, John and Claire Shary of Hilliard; former wife, Debbie Holzkamp; sisters, Rhonda Shary (Lewis Creekmore), Laura Shary Guzzo, Cara (Tom Griesemer), Linda Shary (Jeffrey Logan) and Terri Shary (Jack Fleming); and extended family including nieces, nephews aunts, uncles and cousins along with many dear friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 4pm Saturday, Feb 9, 2019 at the Schoedinger Northwest Chapel, 1740 Zollinger Road, where the family will receive friends until 6pm following the service. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Columbus, 1108 City Park Avenue, Suite 301, Columbus, OH 43206 or the IDEA Foundry in his memory.
