Suzanne Patronsky Obituary

PATRONSKY Suzanne C. Patronsky, 84, of Washington, DC, a native of Columbus, Ohio, died on March 13, 2006 at the Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington. Born in Columbus, Mrs. Patronsky lived in Ambler and Lumberville, PA, and in Pakistan before moving to Washington, DC 35 years ago. She earned her BA at The Ohio State University and was awarded her Masters Degree in Political Science at the University of Pennsylvania. As a lieutenant junior grade, she served with the U.S. Navy during World War 2 in the intelligence corps. She was the wife of the late Stephen J. Patronsky, daughter of the late William and Teresa Eglehoff Cleveland. She is survived by her sons and their wives, Stephen J. and Sandra Patronsky of Orient, Ohio and John W. and Cheryl Patronsky of Cape Canaveral, Fl; her grandchildren, Nathaniel and Craig Patronsky of Columbus and Nicole and Christina Patronsky of Cape Canaveral; her great-granddaughters, Natasha, Shiloh and Chloe; her sisters, Virena Glanzman of Charlotte, NC and Jacqueline Jackson of Dayton, Ohio; her brother, John Cleveland of Georgia; and her brother-in-law, Richard Patronsky of Lincoln, Nebraska. Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Solebury Friends Meeting Cemetery, Solebury, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Friends Service Committee Development, 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA 19102.
