Timothy Blakely Obituary

BLAKELY Timothy Maurice Blakely, 41, born November 4, 1968 in Columbus, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 1, 2010 at OSU East with his mother, sister Tammy, and aunt Faye at his side. A very friendly and giving person, Maurice never met a stranger. He attended Columbus Public Schools and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at the Trinity Baptist Church on March 14, 1976. Preceded in death by grandparents Pearl and Oscar Lindsey, and brother Robert Lindsey. He leaves to cherish his memory, parents, Vivian and Curtis Blakely; children, Timothy, Cieara, Alexis, Tyrail, Curtis, Jaurice, and Te'yon; siblings, Tamara (Robert) Watkins, Sharika, Robert, Andrew, Champagne, and Anthony; special aunts, Crystal Flowers and Nellie Carter; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration 10 a.m. Saturday, February 6, 2010, at Trinity Baptist Church, 461 St. Clair Avenue, where the family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the start of service. Dr. Victor M.
