To Mother Ruth E. Jones, family members and the entire Greater Bethlehem Temple church of the Apostolic Faith family, I submit my condolence in the death of your devoted Bishop, Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Great….and all
that he was to you. Truly He was a great man of God who has touched the lives of many in a positive way. Though he will be missed, “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord”
The Word of God goes on to say “But I would not have you to be ignorant,
Brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others Which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” I Thes. 4:13-18

To: Bro. Leon Norman, First Lady Jones and The Church Family-
I can hear Bishop Jones Jr. say “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”. “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness”.
Family, look to the hills where does my help come from. My help comes from the Lord.
The Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

BISHOP JONES BAPTIZED ME IN THE NAME OF JESUS ON MARCH 26, 1979. HE WAS A SPECIAL MAN OF GOD, HE WAS SO GIFTED IN SO MANY WAYS. HE WILL SURELY BE MISSED, MAY GOD BLESS FIRST LADY JONES AND THE CHURCH FAMILY.
