Shelby,
I am so sorry to hear about your mother. She was a fantastic woman with lots of spirit. I owe her a great deal of prayers for the generosity she showed toward me. Head Start was better because of her. I know that your family will miss her terribly but will keep her with you always.

To Taryn,
No one knows of the sadness
only those who have lost can tell
Some sweet day we long to meet her
for the one we love so well
She has gone but will never be forgotten
To that heavenly home above
Some sweet day we'll long to meet her
and share in His infinite love
'Tis sad to part with family,we love
while here on earth, we stay
But when a brighter thought comes
We'll meet again some day.
May God Bless you in your time of bereavement, there are not words to express my sincere condolences.

To Beverly, Michael, Lori, Shelby, Taryn, Kristeena and all who knew and cherished Wanda. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Losing a Sister and Mother is something we would avoid if we had that power. It's when we remember that Heaven is our home, and the eternal fellowship with our Lord and Savior our goal, are we able to bear the pain of our loss.
I will always have pleasant memories of Wanda, as I have for her parents and other relatives who helped shape my understanding of God. I have come to cherish "ole" Wheatland Ave UMC, and Hilltop UMC. The "saints" who worshipped, preached, taught, and prayed in those humble surroundings paved the way for me to have a strong witness today. It was Paul, Irene, Porter, Beulah, and other members of the Cook family who inspired Wanda to believe and be baptized. I remember we had to learn the 23rd Psalm and the 100th Psalm, among others, and then recite them in Sunday School. I can hear Wanda doing this as a young girl, and I know she continued as she matured. I say to all who loved her and will miss her: "Surely goodness and mercy has followed her all her days, and she will dwell in the house of the Lord, forever."

Lori, Phil and Family
As you make your way
through a fog of tears,
a landslide of heartache
and multiple fears,
We will remember you
in our prayers
While God holds you safe
in the palm of His hand
and sends His angels
to help you stand,
We will remember you
in our prayers
Each minute you long
for peace and rest,
courageously fighting
this willful test,
We will remember you
in my prayers
Love you:
Priscilla (Sis) Ernie Francis and Delisha (Phil's sister. brother in law and niece)
