Wayne Hufford Obituary

HUFFORD Wayne E. Hufford, age 87, of London, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2012 surrounded by his loving family. Hilliard High School Graduate of 1943. Wayne retired from General Motors after 33 years of service, volunteered at the Hilliard Fire Department for 19 years and was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of London. Preceded in death by loving wife Marcine, parents Harvey and Nettie Hufford and brother-in-law George Koncar. Survived by sister, Wilma Koncar; daughters, DiAnne (Larry) Hay of Hilliard, Carla (Steve) Lithgo of North Lewisburg and Lisa (Mike) Sok of Marysville; grandchildren, Tiffany Bishop, Kenny Gardner, Ben Lithgo, Laura Hay, Sarah Kirk, Rachel Hollar, Larry Hay and Chris Hay; 13 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Family will receive friends Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Larry Baker officiating.
