Wilda Bowen Obituary

BOWEN Wilda Bowen, age 76, passed suddenly at her residence on April 15, 2008. Preceded in death by her husband Marvin on March 12, 2002, parents Ireland and Leddie Hinkle, brothers Charles Hinkle and Harold Hinkle. Survivors include her daughter, Angie (Mike) Bailey of St. Paris, Ohio; grandchildren, Makayla Anne Hicks and Austin Michael Hicks; sisters and brothers, Mag Kennedy of Versailles, KY, Bob (Maggie) Hinkle of Inez, KY, Bonnie (Elbridge) Dalton of Columbus, Ohio and Joe (Sharon) Hinkle of Columbus, Ohio; brother-in-law, Willis (Ann) Bowen of Marion, Ohio; sisters-in-law, Carmen Bowen Harless of Inez, KY and Freda Hinkle of Columbus, Ohio. Wilda was a charter member of Grove City Church of the Nazarene since 1961, where she taught kindergarten Sunday school, where she had sang in the choir and served on the church board. Wilda was a claims examiner for 25 years at Watson-Hill Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at The Grove City Church of The Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, where funeral will be held 11 a.m. Friday with Pastor Owen Stotts officiating. Interment Concord Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to The Marvin & Wilda Bowen Belize Memorial Fund c/o Grove City Church of The Nazarene, 4770 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio 43123.
