William "Bill" Hetterscheidt, 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed on Sunday, November 18, 2018. Bill is preceded in death by parents and brothers, Harry, Bob, Dick, and David Hetterscheidt, and sister, Mary (Hetterscheidt) Luckhaupt. Bill leaves behind his loving wife of 59 wonderful years, Jeanine (nee Schneider) Hetterscheidt along with son, Larry (Mel) Hetterscheidt; daughter, Suzie (Al) Loushin; son, Tom (Roseanne) Hetterscheidt; daughter, Carol (Jon) Preston and son, Jerry (Becca) Hetterscheidt; and 15 grandchildren of which he could not have been more proud. Grandchildren include, Tasha (Vince) Brickweg, Hannah (Doug) Deleandro, Alyssa, Dan, and Joe Hetterscheidt, Brian (Abby), Holly, and Kevin Loushin, Sarah, Heidi, and Max Hetterscheidt, Lewis Preston, and Alex, Grace, and Mitch Hetterscheidt. Family will receive friends from 5-8 pm Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd., Columbus, OH 43229. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am, Friday, November 23, 2018 at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus, OH 43224. Interment at Resurrection to immediately follow in procession. In lieu of flowers family asks that contributions be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. James the Less.
