Bill was a great man. I do not know if everyone knew how funny he was or that he was a great bowler. He was a great thinker, problem-solver and listener. He was a great team player. I will always remember him (and Sandy) as a great team together. And if you were lucky enough to have his friendship and confidence, you were blessed beyond measure.
All my thoughts and prayers are with the Schwartz family.

Sandy,
Today one of my student employees asked me to pose for a photo for her photography class while sitting at my desk. She asked me to write down on a card my answer to "Why do I have this job?" It took me no time to answer. "Because someone believed in me and gave me a chance to succeed." I'll never forget his kindness.

Dearest Ellen,
So sorry that Billy passed away. Can't believe it. My heart breaks for you all! He was one of the first people that I met at OSU - on your 18th birthday when we were freshmen many years ago! He was a warm and funny guy -- and always had a BIG smile on his face. We had some wonderful times when we all would get together. Please extend our deepest sympathise to Sandy, Lauren, and Lisa. And our thoughts and prayers to the Scwartz Clan, and of course David. I will call you when you get back to NY. Much love, Alice and Steve Levin, Medfield, MA
