I connected with Aaron via the Jockey Club upon discovering his breeding program had produced the 2005 gelding, Cosmo Kramer, which I have joyfully owned since 2016. Aaron was delighted to hear of what became of Cosmo, that he is now a cherished pleasure horse, hunter and low level Eventer. I shared photos of Cosmo with him, and was so pleased. My heartfelt condolences to Aaron's friends and family, I am saddened to hear of the passing of a fellow Thoroughbred enthisiast.

The world has lost a bright light. I was blessed to work with Big A and Mrs. Susan for several years as a teenager and witness his love of family and community. The Loden’s poured their hearts into the kids that visited the skating rink and their employees. So many wonderful and funny memories I’ll cherish always. Much love and peace to Kayla, Brother and Mrs. Spigner.

My fondest childhood memories centered around the Fulton Skateland and Mr. Aaron. I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing. What an amazing thing to leave a legacy as Mr. Aaron has as he touched so many lives and brought so much joy to our town. My thoughts are with his family & friends during this time of great need.

Aaron and Susan Loden were a beacon of light for the youth in my hometown, Fulton. So many of us frequented Itawamba Skateland and were fortunate to have found a safe haven to hang out with friends and to roller skate to great music! Robin and Vicki Gray were the original owners with the dream to build the rink, and the Lodens kept it alive for us. I loved working there, especially on Saturday mornings as the skating clown and behind the concession stand swirling cotton candy! I still hear the songs Aaron played, great pop hits that are still on the airways, and his voice booming over the speaker for the skaters to reverse skate! More than anything, I loved observing a fantastic team of husband and wife in the manager’s booth working side by side in a successful, untiring fashion to provide wholesome fun for us restless teens. Skating several nights a week kept me out of trouble, and I still enjoy skating to this day! Thank you, Aaron for being the great friend that you were to our small town. You will be sorely missed. Great memories will keep you and Susan alive in my heart, and for those I am thankful! Heartfelt sympathy and condolences are extended to the family at this time.
Sincerely,
Susan Hinton Rogers

What a great man!! He always treated me like a son. From the days of little league baseball to working at the skating rink, he was always good to me. I will miss him greatly. I have lots of memories of helping him with hay for his farm. Most recently, he came to an ICC football game to watch my son play. May the Lord bless his family.
