Imogene Bell Obituary
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at United Funeral Service Chapel in New Albany with the Rev. Joe Gullick officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Riverside Cemetery in Albany, Ga. United Funeral Service in New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by three daughters, Julie Mathis (Keith), Susan Rainwater and Jeanie Smith (Chris Jones), all of New Albany; three sons, Dallas Eugene Bell Jr. of Atlanta, Jessie Glen Bell and John Mark Bell, both of New Albany; a brother, George Thomas Cannon (Nancy) of Albany, Ga.; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dallas Eugene Bell Sr.; and a sister, Mary Ella Carpenter.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or ""The Matt Fund,"" c/o CREATE Foundation, P.O. Box 1053, Tupelo, MS 38802.
