Jack Whisner Obituary
Jack Whisner, age 60 of Eagleville, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Mr. Whisner was born in Des Moines, IA to the late Clarence and Dorothy Whisner. He was a security guard for SOS Security.
Mr. Whisner was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Whisner; daughters, Terri (Kevin) Wilson, Sherrie Whisner, Amber Whisner, all of Eagleville; grandchildren, Ryan Wilson, Emilee Wilson, Seth Wilson; brother, Butch (Betty) Christianson of Mt. Pleasant, IA; sister, Dixie Crispin of Mt. Pleasant, IA; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Friday, May 13, 2011 from 3 p.m. until the funeral service at 6 p.m., at Murfreesboro Funeral Home, with Rick Hash officiating.
In lieu of flowers, family ask for donations to be made to St. Judes Hospital.

I was so sad to hear of Jack's passing. A man of endless patience, he brought good cheer to everyone he met. He was warmhearted and quick with a joke, always there when we needed him. He will be missed every day by so many people.
