Dear Debbie & family: Carroll and I send love and prayers for your comfort. It was a privilege to be Marty's (and your) pastor at Ripley First (1993-98). I always enjoyed being in your presence as we served our Lord together. We'd love to see you and your children. We probably wouldn't know them now! May God's nearness, which we celebrate during this Advent Season, console you.

Dear Lina - I only knew your mother a short time - playing bridge with her and seeing you with her at Adams Place She was the epitome of a lady - gracious, friendly - intelligent - and humble, tho she had so much to be proud of. I know you will miss her. My sympathy is with you and your family.

One of a kind! Miss Marty loved and enjoyed her family, her church, & the Lord. My favorite memory- listening to her talk about walking on the ocean floor for the 1st time - I can't remember how old she was but I do remember being in awe that she would try such a venture at that age. She was one awesome lady!
