Chris was such an awesome man. He was so friendly and kind to any and everyone who came into the store. He never failed to come up to me and speak and make sure you were an important person. I really missed him when he was gone He is one of the GOOD GUYS gone way too soon.

I'll always remember Chris by his positive words and his unconditional love for people. He always had a encouraging word to say to all and he greeted you with a SMILE! What a great MAN! Most importantly because you could tell his heart belonged to the Lord! Thank You Chris Efurd for being such a GREAT Role Model in this Life! We will Miss You but look forward to seeing you again one day! Lord please comfort his family because I know he will be missed in the short term but we praise you that we will all be together in the Long Term! Blessings to All! To God be the Glory!

Betty just got out of the hospital yesterday and regretted not being able to pay her respects at the funeral. We love you all and pray for your ease of pain and suffering thru prayer, Chris will be greatly missed.

It is with extreme sadness that I learned today about Mr. Chris. I only knew him from my deliveries to the store. Efurd's was always my favorite stop; I knew Mr. Chris and Mr. Bobby were fine and sincere men. Both of them always "had time" to be friendly and were kind. I changed jobs so I had not been there in a few years. Mr. Chris always talked about his love for all his family and there was no doubt he loved His Lord! I pray for peace for everyone. R.I.P. Mr. Chris! Mr. Bobby, I know Mr. Chris will be missed by everyone but I know it is going to be especially hard for you being in the store and Mr. Chris no longer there. I am saying extra prayers asking God to give you extra strength and courage to carry on the family business without your brother. My thoughts also go to Mrs. Frances and Mr. Houdi as well as all the workers, family and all.

Let us all pattern our lives as Chris did in that we love family, GOD,friends and all mankind. What a great testimony of someone whose life has been an open book of positive living. Children, never forget the life that your Dad lived as an example of not only a good man but a GREAT man! Chris will be greatly missed by his employeesand his many friends but he will be missed most by his loving family. May you rely upon God for peace to help in dealing with your sorrow. Mrs. Efurd, it is very evident by the lives of each of your three children that you & Mr. Efurd did an outstanding job in rearing them. No matter what age their children are, Mothers always hurt about their children. May God give you comfort.

Chris touched so many lives in a very positive way. He was a man who did not hesitate to express his love for his family, his God and his fellow man.
