JACK MORRISON Obituary

Jack L. Morrison Deacon Jack Lee Morrison of Dothan departed this life on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 . Reposing at Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary, 103 West Southport Street, Dothan. Visitation will today, 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 17th, 11:00 AM, Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church, Dothan, AL with the Reverend Lloyd S. Dillard officiating. Interment will follow in the Gates of Heaven Cemetery. Jack was the dedicated and responsible father of ten children: Booker T. Morrison, and Jack Lee Morrison, Jr. who departed this life before him. However his precious memories will remain vibrant in the lives of his surviving children: Raymond Lee Morrison of New York, Frank Lee Morrison of Dothan, Alabama, Linda Johnson (Bobby Ray), Anita M. Calloway (Larry), Dora Lee Reynolds (Joe), Maxine Wimbley (George) all of Dothan, Alabama, CSM Retired Dwight Bernard Morrison (Joyce), and Brenda Morrison Dawsey, both of Atlanta, Georgia. He leaves behind one sister, Ella Mae McGriff of Dothan, Alabama; fourteen (14) grandchildren: Sonia Clark, Veronica Morrison, Kenneth Morrison, Fredrick Smith, Courtney Johnson, Justin Johnson, Ethan Morrison, Dana Morrison, Cory Sykes, Alexa Sykes, Megal Daw-sey, Joseph Williams, Joshua Williams, Shanita Dixon, and Demone Gunter; ten (10) great grandchildren and a host of other relatives, friends, and last but not least, the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church family.
