Maxie Reaves Blondheim

Ms. Maxie Reaves Blondheim, of Pass Christian, Mississippi, died peacefully on May 2, 2018, in the presence of her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alpheus Baker Reaves and Lurleen Herndon Reaves. Maxie was born in Eufaula, Alabama. She attended Auburn University and the University of Georgia, graduating with a degree in Speech Therapy. Maxie loved attending Thursday morning Chapel with her grandchildren at Coast Episcopal School, as well as spending time with many special friends at the Pass Christian Yacht Club. Her pastimes included cooking and gardening, but mostly spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her three children, William Alexander Blondheim, Allison Blondheim Alarcon and Martha Blondheim Maples; her brother, Jasper Reaves; her grandchildren, Cara Blondheim Hinkley, Cameron Alexander Blondheim, Frances Wynn Maples, Charles Alexander Maples, Richard Ferrell Alarcon and Olivia Reaves Alarcon; and one great-grandchild, Ava Elizabeth Blondheim. A memorial service for family will take place in Eufaula, Alabama. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Coast Episcopal School, Long Beach, Mississippi.
