Mrs. Sandra McLin Mione of Daleville departed her earthly home on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Just before dawn, Sandy passed quietly in her sleep, and her faith in Jesus Christ became more real than life itself. She was 54. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at Daleville Baptist Church with Reverend James Kilpatrick and Reverend John McCrummen officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery in Ozark with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Daleville Baptist Church, 100 Donnell Boulevard, Daleville, AL 36322. Mrs. Mione was born January 13, 1960 to James R. McLin and the late Evelyn M. Hardy McLin. She spent many hours helping in the family restaurant and grew up to marry her high school sweetheart, Danny Mione, supporting him throughout his army career. She was a loving wife and mother who would do anything for her family. She was a lifelong member of Daleville Baptist Church. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Evelyn Hardy McLin, and her parents-in-law, Julius and Della Mione. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Danny Mione of Daleville; 2 children: Lauren Nowling (David) of Auburn and Joseph Mione of Daleville; 2 grandchildren: Tristan and Carter Nowling; her father, James R. McLin of Daleville; 2 brothers: Randy McLin and Ricky (Kay) McLin, all of Daleville; 3 sisters-in-law: Frances Harrison (Michael) of Dothan, Della Williams (Jack) of Tennessee, and Sandra Broxson of Dothan; numerous nieces and nephews.
