Charles S. Yamamoto
July 18, 1942 - July 3, 2014
Resident of Martinez
Native of Osaka Japan, proud U. S. citizen, even prouder born-again Christian, reverent & loving Pastor, cherished father & adored husband.
Welcoming him into Heaven are his son CJ, brother Ryuji, mother Shizuko, father Katsuyoshi, step-father Gerald Hartgenbush, mother/father-in-laws Helen & Kim Lim. Charles' final graduation into Heaven occurred peacefully at 6:00 am surrounded by angels, sons Chris & Mike, God-dog Scruffy, & wife of 45 years, May.
Surviving relatives: brother George (Harumi), sister Joyse: nieces Kaori, Megan, Mariah, Jo (Nicolas) in-laws Mary & Michael, Eddy & Judy. Charles will be truly missed by all.
Thanks to Hospice of East Bay for making Charles' journey a compassionate one. We wish to convey our thanks to all of you who prayed for our family. Peace, love, joy.

Charles has been such a gift to our family. He was more than a neighbor for over 20 years, he was a true friend, always saying something funny and most importantly, one that you could pray with.
