Isabella Medeiros Obituary

ISABELLA CAMILLA MEDEIROS Enjoyed gardening and her family. 88, a lifelong Pleasanton resident, died Friday, December 23, 2005 in Livermore, California. She was born into the Bernal/Higuera families, which were members of the original California DeAnza party, a 6th generation Californian and 4th generation Pleasanton resident. Her parents were Lulu Bernal and Alex Higuera. She was a loving mother and housewife. She enjoyed gardening and especially loved her family. She was a member of the Dublin and Pleasanton Senior Clubs. She is survived by her sons, Leonard Medeiros, Elton Medeiros and his wife, Marjorie of Livermore; three grandsons, Rick Medeiros of Red Bluff, Ken Medeiros of Elk Grove and Manuel Medeiros of Reno, NV and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Manual Medeiros in 1994; two brothers, Sam and Alfred Higuera and her two sisters, Marie Cintrone and Matilda Medeiros. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. and rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, December 29th at St. Augustine's Catholic Church, 3999 Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton. A funeral mass will be held Friday, December 30th at St. Augustine's Catholic Church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be at St. Augustine's Cemetery, Pleasanton. Donations may be made to the Dublin Hope Hospice, 6500 Dublin Blvd., Suite #100, Dublin, CA 94568. Please sign her guestbook at www.graham-hitch mortuary.com.
