Jacqueline Regan Obituary

JACQUELINE W. KITLEN REGAN (ABBOTT) July 17, 1924 - October 18, 2005 Jackie entered into rest on Tuesday, October 18th after a long battle with lung disease, surrounded by her family in her San Leandro home. Jackie is survived by her daughters Delia Connaghan of San Diego and Micki Regan Silvey of Pleasanton and her son John Regan of San Leandro. Son-in-laws Frank Connaghan and Bud Silvey. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband John M. Regan in 1958. Her parents Lillian and Frank Kitlen and both her brothers Charles and Gerald. She retired from the Federal Government after 33 years of distingished service in 1983 to provide child care to her grandson Darren. Jackie was a loving mother and grand mother. Her grandchildren Sean Connaghan, Darren Silvey, Heather Silvey and Erin Connaghan were her greatest joy in her later years, and she believed they were almost perfect. We will remember her generosity, love and words of wisdom as well as her sarcastic wit. She will be greatly missed by her loving family. Friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service celebrating her life on Friday, October 21, 2005 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Santos-Robinson Mortuary 160 Estudillo Avenue, San Leandro. Donations to the Oakland S.P.C.A. 8323 Baldwin St. Oakland, CA preferred. Visitation begins Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Santos-Robinson Mortuary San Leandro (510) 483-0123
