Resident of Concord
Born in Wausau, WI. He moved with his family to California in 1961 and resided in Contra Costa County. He lived in Cromberg, CA, for several years.
He was very talented at many things. Kind hearted, warm loving, gentle soul never went out of his way to be hurtful.
Patrick was a very loving uncle to his nephew Michael & niece Nicole. He was proud to be able to see them grow up & be successful adults. Excited & proud to attend both of their weddings in 2011 & 2014 and pending arrival of his great nephew.
In his earlier years he loved traveling back home to Wisconsin. He was a great water skier. He loved snowmobiling, enjoyed hunting with his dad & brothers from a young age. He loved watching almost every kind of sports live or on TV. He enjoyed history very much and was very knowledgeable. He was a great teacher in all things that he knew & learned.
He shared many stories of living back in Wisconsin of family & grandparents.
Proceeded in death his parents, William & Shirley Parlier, oldest brother Phillip Parlier.
Survived by his brother Michael Parlier (Kim), loving sister Kristine Dias, brother-in-law Steven Dias of Fairfield, CA. Nephew Michael Dias (Nichole) of Concord, CA, Niece Nicole Eseed (Mike) & great nephew Tyler (born 1 week after his passing) of Fairfield, CA., sister-in-law Alice Parlier of Cromberg, CA, Aunt Marlys (Thomas) McDonald of Sobeski, WI. and many cousins of Wisconsin.
Many thanks to Patrick's friend & room mate John Morden. John has been a good friend to Patrick.
Patrick was employed by Bay Area News Group in Concord for more than 13 years. Patrick was a valued team member with his, work ethics, dependability & teamwork. His loss has been deeply felt by many of his coworkers.
Memorial Funeral Liturgy conducted by Father Robert Rien Friday Sept. 4, 2015 @ 10 AM at Moore's Mission Funeral Home, 1390 Monument Blvd., Concord, CA 94520 - 925-682-1100.
Patrick will be laid to rest privately with his immediate family.
