Gary Denton Obituary
On December 29, 2021, Gary Wayne Denton went home to be with our Lord and Savior after an unexpected heart attack. Gary was born on September 5, 1967. He lived a short but full life.
Born in Clovis, New Mexico, Gary grew up working in the family business. Coincidently, this is also the place he met his wife, Donita White Denton who he was married to for 31 years. Together, Gary and Donita continued this 3rd generation plumbing and heating business originated by W.T. Denton over 50 years ago to what is has become today.
Gary Wayne (GW) was an inspiration and a huge contribution to the community. Making memories everywhere he went and creating special bonds with his loved ones and friends. Some would say that Gary was a hoarder, but the ones that know him the best would say he was a collector. He loved old trucks, gas pumps, Coca-Cola machines, and anything that reminded him of his childhood. Being in the construction business for so long, Gary was a jack of all trades and a perfectionist for just about everything he did. When something was constructed, you could almost bet it would be around longer than him and the next generation to follow. He will be truly missed and remembered for the deep impact he left in our hearts.
Gary is survived in life by his parents, Travis and Jan Denton, his wife, Donita Denton, his children, Tabatha Coffey (Boyd) and Logan Denton (Brooke), his grandchildren, Norah and Lauren Coffey, his sister Tami Schilling (Jason), his loyal pet companion, Liam and many other loved relatives and friends.
Gary is preceded in death by his Granny Doris and Grandpa Floyd Culpepper, Grandpa W.T. Denton and wife Charlene, and his aunt Donita Woolfolk.
