John T. Kuiper, 68, of Elkhart, died Friday, Dec. 3, 2021, at Elkhart General Hospital.
He was born Jan. 19, 1953, in Friesland, the Netherlands, to Pieter and Johanna (Hersma) Kuiper.
On July 21, 1990, he married Dianna Albaugh. She preceded him in death on Sept.r 25, 2018. Surviving are six children, Lisa Kuiper of South Bend, Pieter (Chali) Kuiper of Goshen, Brent Kuiper of Nappanee, Tiffany Seabolt and Dianna S. Delapena, both of Elkhart, and Stephanie (Brandon) Wright of Edwardsburg, Michigan.
Also surviving are 11 grandchildren; three siblings, Riena (Wayne) Sommers of Elkhart, and Steve (Ramona) Kuiper and Gretchen Wise, both of Goshen; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dianna and two sisters, Alice Kuiper and Florence Verhulst.
John graduated from Goshen High School in 1971. He enjoyed fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, going for pontoon rides and spending time in Florida. John was the owner of Fix-It Services and could repair almost anything.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be held at the Walley-Mills-Zimmerman Funeral Home on Wednesday, Dec. 22.

My thoughts and prayers are with you at the passing of John. In September at our 50th class reunion we spent time catching up, very glad I got to spend time with him.
