David I was so sad to find your fathers obituary. My father, Vinal Leroy Bailey, is your grandfathers brother. My father adored your father. We called him Dickie. Your dad visited us in Bridgeport, while on leave. My mom & Dad and my family visited your parents about 33 years ago. I remember the visit because your mother made the best cake I ever tasted. Your parents and I kept in touch for awhile but then life happened and we lost touch. I remember your father was into collecting Native American jewelry. Ive tried a few times throughout the years to find your parents to no avail. This time I found your Dad. Im sorry for the loss to your family. I am your father s cousin Sandy Bailey Morlando and my # is (609) 992-7740 should you ever want to meet.

I am so sad to see Richard or as I called him Dickie has passed. I am his Uncle Vinal Baileys daughter Sandra. I have always had fond memories of Dickie. I remember when he visited us, while he was on leave in the Army, at our home in Bridgeport, CT. We visited Dickie & Rita when my children were young and Rita bake the most wonderful cake I ever had. My dad loved Dickie a lot. I always hoped to reconnect and could never find them. Tonight my sister & I were talking about Native American Indians and I thought of Dickie so I googled him and almost immediately I found his obituary. My heart is sad but maybe Dickie & Dad are together again. If his family see this I want to leave my number for Rita. (609) 992-7740. Deepest condolences
