Norman "Lynn" Robinson

TWIN FALLS, ID - Lynn Robinson passed away at the age of 81 in Twin Falls, Idaho after a lengthy battle with Myeloma. He was born in Eureka, Nevada in his grandmother's house with a mid-wife to Delbert and Adair Robinson and was the oldest of three sons. He was raised in Eureka where he attended schools and graduated in 1960 in the top "5" of his class in a class of 5. He left Eureka to attend business college in Nampa, Idaho.
Lynn married in 1962 and had three children, Mike, Brad, and Angie. While living in the Nampa-Caldwell area, he was active in many organizations. He enjoyed golf and was president of the Caldwell Men's Golf Association. One of the highlights in his life was being able to play at St. Andrews Gold Course while attending his daughter's wedding in Scotland. He was an active member of the Caldwell Elks Lodge #1448 where he sat on the Board of Directors of the Elks Rehabilitation Center and was named Elk of the Year 1986-1987. He resided in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for a few years and then moved to Twin Falls, Idaho where he resided until his death.
Lynn was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Adair Robinson and a son-in-law Tim Clarkson.
He was survived by his three children: Mike Robinson and wife, Lisa of Spring Creek, Nevada, Brad Robinson of Caldwell, Idaho, and Angie Clarkson of Idaho Falls, Idaho; brothers: Wayne Robinson and wife, Maribeth of Fallon, Nevada and Jerry Robinson and wife, Nona of South Fork, Nevada; eight grandchildren: Dustin Robinson, Zachary Robinson, Curtis Robinson, Emily Ruano, Kade Robinson, Matthew Clarkson, Andrew Clarkson and Marissa Clarkson as well as fifteen great-grandchildren, five nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
A celebration of life will be held in Caldwell, Idaho on March 2nd at 5:00 p.m, at the Caldwell Elks Lodge. Another Celebration of life to be held in Twin Falls, Idaho on March 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Rock Creek Restaurant, which was his favorite hangout. His final Celebration of life and interment will be held in his hometown of Eureka, Nevada on July 6th at 11:00 a.m. at the Eureka County Fairgrounds to officiated by his lifelong friend and classmate, Jim Ithurralde.
His ashes will be laid to rest with his parents in a private family ceremony at the Eureka Catholic Cemetery.
The family would also like to thank some of his dearest and closest friends, Keith Hutchinson who always checked on him and got him to his doctor's appointments, Eli Cann who looked up to him as a mentor and friend and Kevin Williams who always came when he needed help or something repaired and stayed to visit and chat with him.
Lynn dearly loved his family and cherished the numerous business and personal relationships he built throughout his life. He will certainly be missed by all that knew him.
