Col. Hynes,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your years of dedicated service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the U.S. Army-especially during WW II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I never had the honor of meeting Mr Hynes, but my best friend, his granddaughter, Sara Hynes Robins, talked about him often over our 25 yr friendship. Sending love & blessings to the family!

To the Hynes family:
Mr. Hynes was like a Grandfather to me. How I loved him so. I have known him my entire life. Growing up next door, and hanging with Chris, are times I enjoyed very much. I will forever cherish the memories I have of him, and of his friendship with my grandparents. My heart goes out to each of you during this time of sorrow. God bless you all.

Always "Dad" to me, especially when my own father died. He was there for me in so many ways when I needed it most. He was an honorable man who loved his family and country. He took pride in everything he did. I am blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this sad time.
