JAMES LEE MILLENDER JR. Left this world to be with the Lord April 15, 2015 on the wings of an Angel. James Was only 40 years old when he departed, but he filled our hearts and those who loved him so much; he was 40 years old, and he lived 40 years fully. When he was three years old, he was given a part in a training movie at Ft. Bliss; the movie was used to train MPs on hostage taking (James was the hostage). He leaves a father, Rev. James L. Millender, Sr. a mother, Maria D. Millender; three brothers: Rene Vasquez, Christopher Millender, Justin Millender and sister, Tressie Fae Millender. James grew to appreciate Entertaining: singing, and dancing; the stage became home for him, and a way of expression. He recorded numerous song tracks (Rap music) and appeared on stage in El Paso, Phoenix and Tempe, Arizona. He also worked with youth promoting good salesmanship in Arizona and El Paso. He left a wife Beatriz Adriana Alvarado; three adorable children: Luz Arcadia Millender, (16 yrs old) James L. Millender III (14 yrs old) and Catalina Elizabeth Millender (7 yrs old). James Jr. worked in his father's Non-profit business promoting the construction of affordable housing for low income people. James Jr. will be loved and missed immensely by all those who knew him. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00pm on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am on Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Northeast. Committal Service will follow at 12:30pm at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
