I think about Stanley quite a bit. Of the many trips we took to the Sea of Cortez. Of just visiting with him at his home. He had many remembrances of WWII and the liberation of the countries. A very generous soul.

Stanley was a dear friend as we went to the Sea of Cortez 16 of the last 20 years when we were the last two of about 15 men who went fishing. We played tennis until all he had left was a high lob. He was kind, generous, and loyal, would do anything for you. He will be greatly missed.

Stanley was a dear friend who would do anything in the world for you. We went to the Sea of Cortez fishing for 16 of the last 20 years until the last of the group passed on. We played tennis until all he had left was a high lob. He sometimes mentioned repatriating some of the German towns after WWII, and received awards for his service. He will be missed. Frank Caldwell

I am beyond saddened by the loss of Stanley. I will never forget our frequent phone calls, his incredible stories, & endless amount of jokes. My children & Stanley's great-grandchildren, Preston & Georgie Mae (named after Stanley's mother Mamie), will know of their grandfathers bravery & legacy because, I assure you, I will speak of him often. I know my husband, Kenzie Marcus (Stanley's namesake) takes after his grandfather and I used to love when Stanley reminded him of that. Stanley was very proud of his family and we are still so proud to call him our blood. We miss you so much already, Stanley.
With love,
Kenzie, Chelsea, Preston, & Georgie Mae
