Doris Feth Obituary

Doris Mae Feth, nee Frankenberg, 85, Beaufort, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024, peacefully at her home, surrounded by the love of her family.

Doris was born Oct. 7, 1938, in Washington, to Joseph Frankenberg and Frances, nee Spaunhorst. Doris received her education at St. Francis Borgia Grade School and graduated from St. Francis Borgia High School in 1956. Doris was united in marriage to Theodore Feth on May 7, 1960, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Washington. The couple made their home in Beaufort, and their marriage was blessed with five children.

Doris was employed at Wal-Mart for over 25 years and retired in 2009. She was a longtime, active member of St. Joseph Neier Catholic Church. Doris loved her family dearly and cherished the time she was blessed to spend with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her five children, Phyliss Fink and husband Mike, Doug Feth and wife Inez, Karen Bleckman and husband Fritz, Tim Feth and wife Denise, and Dewayne Feth and wife Theresa; grandchildren, Megan Orf, Melinda Gerstner, Nicole Hagedorn, Heather Branson, Valerie Dressler, Matt Feth, Nathan Feth, Danielle Feth, Lindsey Feth, Karrie Emmons, Katie Feth, and Kaycee Feth; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Don Frankenberg; brother-in-law, Orville Schroepfer; sister-in-law, Jane Oehlert; nieces; nephews; and many other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Theodore Feth; her parents, Joseph and Frances Frankenberg; step-mother, Lucille Frankenberg; parents-in-law, Frank and Bernice, nee Fechtler, Feth; two grandsons, Nick Bleckman and Joshua Feth; and one great-grandson, Luke Dressler.

A funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. Joseph Neier Catholic Church, Union, with the Rev. Peter Blake officiating.

Burial followed at the church cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Masses to St. Joseph Neier.

The Feth Family was served by Oltmann Funeral Home, Union.
