Garry Null Obituary

Garry Allan Null, 68, Pacific, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2021, at his home after a long battle with cancer and related health issues.

Garry met the love of his life, Joan, at Pacific High School. They married the year after graduating and had four daughters, who they raised together in Pacific. Garry worked at the Chrysler Plant in Fenton and retired in June 2007. After retirement, he loved taking care of his garden; canning vegetables; cooking for his family, neighbors and friends; and fishing with his grandkids.

Garry is survived by his wife, Joan, nee Gildehaus; his daughters, Melissa Goldman and husband David, Rebecca Null Gruendler, Christina Null and Kimberly Null; his grandchildren, Garrett Gruendler and Gabrielle Gruendler; his brother, Richard Null and wife Sue; his sisters, Linda Coleman and husband Bill and Donna Bradshaw and husband Barney; cousins; nieces; nephews; and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Anna Belle Null; sister, Barb Hanna; and niece, Amy Hanna.

Visitation was scheduled for Friday, Oct. 22, from 4-8 p.m. at Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, 231 E. Union St., Pacific.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

Arrangements are in care of Nieburg-Vitt, Thiebes Funeral Home, Pacific.
