Steven Cook Obituary

Steven Joseph Cook, 60, Bland, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023.

He was born June 25, 1963, to Theodore Leroy and Sheilan Carol (Kraisser) Cook in St. Louis. He was united in marriage to Sharon Czeschin, Nov. 20, 1981, in St. James. Steven enjoyed fishing, gun collecting, going on motorcycle rides and spending time with grandchildren.

Steven is survived by his daughters, Shannon Wenkel, Rosebud, Sarah Ladyman and fiance Ronald Hoffman, St. Clair, and Shawn Ragain and husband Eric, Fayette; mother-in-law, Rose Czeschin, Bland; brother, Ted Cook and wife Sherry, New Haven; sisters, Anna Cook, Washington, and Sheilan Cornman and husband Paul, St. James; and grandchildren, Wyatt, Blake, Madison, Caleb, Lexi, Haley, Desiree, Nicholas, Datan, Boston and Bella.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Sheilan; wife, Sharon; and father-in-law, Willis Czeschin.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Aug. 17 from 4-8 p.m. at Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.

A funeral service will be held Friday, Aug. 18, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Chilton officiating.

Burial will be in Countryside Memorial Gardens.

Memorials are requested for family's choice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Gottenstroeter Funeral Home, Owensville.
