Kathleen Bielski Obituary
She was born in Erie, Pa. on July 16, 1950, a daughter of the late Joseph and Eleanor Szymanowski Lewandowski.
She graduated from Mercyhurst Preparatory School. For over 30 years she cared for others at the Regional Cancer Center through her role as an X-ray Tech. Kathie was very social and loved spending time with her friends and family. She had the type of energy that would light up a room and was loved by all who were blessed to have known her. She will be remembered for her selfless kindness and compassion for others. She was a member of the Hilltop Mercy Center for Women, belonged to the ladies auxiliary for the V.F.W. and was a member of various local social clubs. She was a member of Elevate Church as well.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roman Bielski.
She is survived by three daughters, Julie Huggler and her husband Ben, Jacqueline Catrabone and her husband Greg and Jennifer Thompson and her husband Casey; five grandchildren, Preston, Maya, Ashlyn, Sydney and Ethan; two step-grandchildren, Christopher and Carter, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to say a final goodbye to Kathie at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 from 11 a.m. until the time of service there at 1 p.m., with Reverend Philip M. Oriole officiating. All CDC guidelines will be followed including wearing masks, social distancing and capacity limits.
Burial will be in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Mercy Hilltop Center, 444 East Grandview Boulevard, Erie, PA 16504.

Kathy was my yearly X-Ray Tech and we shared many cocktails together with her RCC girls and at the CYS Club. Her passing truly saddens my heart. We had many great conversations about family and grandkids, she was a very proud Mom and Grandma. I will miss our conversations and our laughs together. She was one good soul for sure.
My prayers go out to all of you during this difficult time.
Rest in Peace with Roman, Kathy.

I was in the same xray tech class,
A fellow tech at Radiology Associates, some day trips with Adam's travel and breakfast with the girls.
Kathie was always the best.
I will miss chatting with her.

I worked with Kathie at RCC for 27 years. We often spoke about our children and I could tell she was very proud of her family. We spoke of high school graduations, weddings and the births of grandchildren. She was always so kind to her patients and fellow employees. We had many laughs at work parties and potluck lunches. Rest peacefully Kathie!
