Rica Meyer Obituary
Born in Erie on January 7, 1944, she was a daughter of the late Clarence P. and Aurelia C. (Peplinski) Meyer.
Rica graduated from Academy High School and was a certified x-ray technician. She worked for Radiology Associates of Erie and the Imaging Center at Hamot Hospital before retirement.
She was a parishioner at St. Luke Church. Rica enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved to travel and do anything outdoors especially in her yard and around her home.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Raymond Meyer and a brother-in-law, Danny Perfetto.
Survivors include a sister, Judith Ann Perfetto; sisters-in-law, Clara and Roseann Meyer; and nieces and nephews, Dan Perfetto, Leslie Perfetto, Lisa Perfetto, Jo'el Russo, husband Michael, Julie Meyer, and John Meyer; and a great-niece and great-nephew, Adriana and Dominic.
Friends may call on Saturday, May 29th from 10 a.m. until a time of a funeral mass at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Church, 421 East 38th St.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA 16511 or to the charity of one's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, Pine Avenue Branch, 845 East 38th Street. Condolences may be expressed at www.bruggerfuneralhomes.com.
