Robert Brian "Cecil" Klingensmith

Robert Brian "Cecil" Klingensmith, age 48, of Erie, Pa., died on Friday, January 13, 2012, at St. Vincent Health Center. Brian grew up in Fairview, Pa. He graduated from Fairview High School class of 1981. While in Fairview, Brian became an Eagle Scout of Troop 68. Thereafter, he went to Pitt University, Bradford, Pa., where he graduated with a BS Degree in Business Management. He also graduated from Triangle Tech, Erie, Pa., with a degree in Design Engineering. Brian was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carl Klingensmith in 2007. He is survived by his mother, Bonnie Lynch Klingensmith-Lynch of Ocala, Fla.; a son, Christopher Klingensmith, Erie, Pa.; and a grandson, Julius, age 3; a sister, Beth Ann Klingensmith Grant, Ocala, Fla.; and his ex-wife, Patrice Lindsey, of whom he remained friends. Brian is also survived by many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew, Megan and Cody Grant of Ocala, Fla.; and a friend, Nicholas Gianelli. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:30 till 8:30 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. at 602 W. 10th St., Erie, PA 16502 when a time of sharing will be led by Rev.
