Ruby D. Benson

Ruby D. Benson Ruby D. Benson age 82, of 703 Nevada Drive Erie, died Friday, July 4, 2008 at her daughter’s residence in Jane Lew, West Va., surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on August 13, 1925 the daughter of the late Floyd M. and Christine M. Reifel Denlinger. She was a graduate of Garfield Heights High School, and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Bowling Green State University. She was a homemaker, but also worked part-time as a receptionist in her husband’s orthodontic office. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of the Covenant. She is survived by her husband, P. Alan Benson whom she married in 1953, a daughter, Leslie L. Gallien and her husband David of Jane Lew, West Virginia, and three sons, Jeffrey A. Benson, DMD, and his wife Karen of Erie, James S. Benson and his wife Patty of Strongsville, Ohio, and Eric R. Benson and his wife Judy of Traverse City, Michigan; a sister, Esther C. Parrish; she is also survived by eight grandchildren, Dave, Kimberly, Jon, Christy, Michelle, Heidi, Brian, and Brad.
