Gary Littrell Obituary
A family visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, at the Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams St., Buckner, 816-650-5555. Cremation will follow. The family requests casual attire.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name c/o Metcalf Bank, 100 S. Hudson St., Buckner, MO 64016.
Gary was born April 6, 1980, in Kansas City, Mo., to William and Patricia (Howell) Littrell and has been a lifelong area resident, graduating from Fort Osage High School in 1998. He was a manager for Shop and Pawn of Independence. He enjoyed collecting guns, diamonds and gold. He was a very giving and loyal family oriented person who was a man of principal and who believed in speaking his mind good or bad. He was a life member of the NRA.
Gary is survived by his parents, Billy, Patti and Lorna; a son, Daymon Britt; 3 brothers, Billy, Eric and Steven; and 2 sisters, Tonya (Jon) and Michaela. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jessy Letellier.

I have known Gary since he was 16. It has truly been an adventure but its one that I would never trade or forget. There will never be another Gary Littrell and I feel very blessed to have known him and had him in my life besides the fact every time I look at my grandson Daymon I will forever be reminded of him. And that is fine with me!!!

My prayers are with you all to get threw this. Just know Gary won't be alone as Jessy is waiting to greet him at the gates and with him up there now. Jessy is probably stoked to see his brother. Now you guys have another angel watchin over you. R.i.p. gary.
