Jeffery Burris Obituary

Williamsport - Jeffrey "Jeff" Lee Burris, 48, Williamsport, died in the emergency room of the St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital, on Thursday, February 5, 2009, at 8:39 p.m.
Jeff was born in Williamsport, Indiana, on January 26, 1961. He was the son of Sharon Lee Clune Burris of Attica and the late Harold Eugene Burris. Jeff was raised in Attica, graduating from Attica High School in 1979. He has lived in Williamsport for the past twelve years.
Jeff formerly worked at Subaru-Isuzu Automotive Plant in Lafayette for 11 years until he had to retire due to disability.
Jeff was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica.
Jeff enjoyed music and was a drummer for many area bands. His last band that he played with was "Return to Zero". He was a NASCAR fan with Mark Martin as his favorite driver. He was a former member of the Eagles Lodge # 2596 of Attica.
Surviving with his mother, Sharon are his companion, Robin Hann, Williamsport; his son, Nickolas Burris, Williamsport; a brother, Gary A. Burris, Terre Haute; three grandchildren, Damion Michael Hann, Dakota and Tony Stump; several aunts and uncles.
Friends may call at the Maus Funeral Home, Attica, on Sunday, Feb. 8th from 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions are preferred in lieu of flowers to the "Make-a-wish-foundation". Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
