Jacob O'Malley Obituary
Fond du Lac - Jacob Seth O'Malley, age 37, of Mequon, died on Monday, June 7, 2021. He was born on May 31, 1984, in Fond du Lac, the son of Mark and Sharon (Miller) O'Malley. Jake graduated from Horace Mann High School in North Fond du Lac in 2002. On April 29, 2016, he married Jessica Alter in San Francisco, CA. Jake was a proud survivor of colorectal cancer and recently celebrated five years of remission. Jake worked for Total Energy Systems out of Milwaukee. He was an avid hunter and loved going up north to the family cabin. Most of all he loved spending time with his children. Jake will be remembered by all for his amazing sense of humor, love of horror movies and for giving the best hugs one could hope to receive-the memory of which will be cherished.
Survivors include his wife, Jessica; two children, Lily and Seth; his parents, Mark and Sharon O'Malley; his siblings, Shannon (Jeff) Thomas, Josh (Tara Pahwa) O'Malley, Sarah Lemmenes, Joe (Andrea Pemberton) O'Malley, Anne (Jason Dill) O'Malley, John (Miranda) O'Malley; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many special friends.
Visitation will take place on Monday, June 14, 2021, from 4-8 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place. Entombment will follow the service at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
