Jason Perkins Obituary
Fond du Lac - Jason Scott Perkins, 56, passed away peacefully at home on November 30, 2018. He was born May 12, 1962 in Queens, NY to Paul and Norma (Rilington) Perkins. Jason served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 14 years. He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years.
Jason is survived by his wife, Melissa, his children, Zoe and Jevon, two sisters, Vernita Perkins and Brenda (Kelly) Dahmer, and special military friend, Albert Banks. He is further survived by nieces, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: Jason's family invites relatives and friends for a time of visitation at Zacherl Funeral Home, 875 E. Division Street, Fond du Lac, on Friday, December 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 6:45 PM. Military honors will be held at the beginning of visitation at 4:00 PM.
Service: A celebration of Jason's life will be held after visitation at 7:00 PM, with Garry Moise presiding.
Jason's family extends a special thank you to Doreen Drezdon, and the staff at Agnesian Hospice and Agnesian Cancer Center. Melissa especially thanks the caring people at Grancare for their encouragement and support through this difficult time, as well as the students and staff at STEM Institute for all the compassion they have shown to the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Jason's children are appreciated.

Jason was one of the great ones that I had the honor to work with at the USPS. He will always be in my memories as a tireless worker that upheld the standards of the USPS, but more importantly, a friend and gentle man.

Melissa, my deepest sympathies to you and the children. He was so proud of his family. Jason and I went through Supervisor training together and then later worked on Tour 1 at the Oshkosh plant. He could always bring a smile to my face.
