Raymond Kohls Obituary
Raymond L. Kohls, 65, of Fond du Lac, died peacefully Friday, August 22, 2014 at Manor Care Health Services. He was born in Fond du Lac on July 9, 1949, the son of Kenneth and Lucille (Schloskey) Kohls.
Roadrunner Ray loved helping anyone and everyone. He enjoyed car shows with his roommate of 22 years, Coyote Gary. He loved all the family gatherings, all the smiles of the children in his life and the Green Bay Packers.
Ray is survived by his sisters; Carol (Dennis) Mosolf of Ft. Wayne, IN and Barb (Scott) Van Dreel of DePere, WI, his brothers; Dale (Ellen) Kohls of Fond du Lac, David Unferth of Milwaukee and Dean (Bev) Unferth of Campbellsport, nieces and nephews; Brian Thompson, Joe Thompson, Becky (Mike) Joost, Josh Mosolf, Kevin Krug, Adams Kohls, Heather (Scott) Klein and Nicole Herriges, aunts, uncles and last but not least his very special friend, Gary Oechsner. He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepfather, and both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Funeral Information
A visitation for Ray will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on Monday, August 25, 2014 at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave in Fond du Lac. A Liturgy of the Word service will follow the visitation at 5:00 PM. A private family burial will take place on Tuesday at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
