Larry Dale Moad

1941 - 2019

Larry Dale Moad, 78, Sedalia, MO, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Bothwell Regional Health Center in Sedalia, MO. He was born January 17, 1941 in Mexico, MO the son of the late William and Vivian (Albright) Moad. He was first united in marriage to Gloria Joseph and later he was united in marriage to Nila Lechner who preceded him in death.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters Charlotte Mitchell of Centralia, MO and Connie Waack of Centralia, MO; two sons Michael Moad of Farmington, MO and Raymond Moad and his wife Joan of Independence, MO; one brother William Rockford Moad and his wife Cathy of the State of Mississippi; eight grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents and wife, one brother Sterling Moad preceded him in death.
Larry worked as a mechanic and manager for Ker McGee in Kansas City, Kansas. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, country music, leather working, working on and building guns and cooking.
A celebration of life will be from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at the Oliver Funeral Home in Centralia, MO.
