Ann was born in Providence, R.I. on Sept. 29, 1916, a daughter of the late William H. and Annie (Burke) Potter. She was a graduate of Fitchburg High School, the class of 1934.
She worked as a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co. during the 1950s. She was a member of St. Bernard’s Church.
She leaves several cousins.
She is predeceased by two sisters, Helen F. Potter and Sr. Mary Potter.
POTTER -- The funeral will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2007, from the Smith-Mallahy-Masciarelli Funeral Home (www.masciarellifamilyfuneralhomes.net), 243 Water St., Fitchburg, MA. 01420 with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Bernard’s Church, 240 Water St., Fitchburg, MA, 01420. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to the funeral. Interment will follow in the St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Fitchburg.
