Bruce Lammi Obituary
He is survived by his wife Deborah (Whaley). His daughter Mariah Lammi of Fitchburg; stepson Steven Whaley and wife Kelly of Myrtle Beach, SC. His sister Susan of Seminole, FL.
Brothers Michael and wife Susan; Clifford and wife Deborah and Scott and wife Marylou Lammi all of Ashby. A stepbrother David Joseph and wife Joyce; stepsisters Debbie and Donna Joseph all of Ashby. His mother-in-law Hester Whaley of Fitchburg; three brothers-in-law Donald Whaley of Athol; Mark Whaley and wife Joan of VT and Larry Whaley of Fitchburg; a sister-in-law Wanda and husband Edward Ouellette of Fitchburg. Along with three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Debbie and Bruce recently celebrated their anniversary of 37 years August 16. Bruce graduated from Monty Tech in 1981 then went on to work in the corrugated box industry starting as a machine operator worked his way up to an ink room technician; a position he held for the many years.
Bruce was an avid fisherman sometimes known to even throw a line in the water before going to work in the morning. He was also an avid sports fan especially the Bruins and Patriots. He also had a love for watching and playing golf that he got from his father. He is predeceased by his mother Barbara; father John; stepmother Anne (Joseph) Lammi; father-in-law Donald Whaley; and sister-in-law Barbara Koutrakos.
Burial will be private. A celebration of Bruce's life will be held on Sunday, September 24, 2023 from 12:00 to 4:00 at the Townsend VFW hall at 419 Main St. in Townsend. Please come and share your memories.

Bruce was one of many great classmates that I had with me on a very powerful class with a lot of talent and was the 20th classmate to die in 42 years after graduation. As class VP, my condolences and prayers go out to the family for such a great guy. Rest in peace Bruce until me meet again in heaven.
