CONCORD -- Frank R. Viscariello, 84, of Concord, died Friday, Oct. 31, at Emerson Hospital in Concord.
He was the husband of Barbara (Felt) Sheehan and the late Victoria Dorothy (Dunne) Viscariello.
Born in Concord on Nov. 10, 1918, he was the son of the late Ralph Viscariello and Jane (Melisi) Viscariello. He attended Concord schools and was a 1936 graduate of Concord High School.
For many years, Mr. Viscariello was co-owner of the West Concord Package Store. He had previously been owner of the Carlisle Superette in Carlisle and manager of the Economy Store in Concord Center.
A lifelong Concord resident, he served in the National Guard in Concord and was a former member of the Concord Lodge of Elks.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, survivors include two sons, Ralph Viscariello and his wife, Dawn of St. Augustine, Fla., and Paul Viscariello and his wife, Meredith of Manassas, Va.; two daughters, Jean Viscariello of Leominster and Diane Leslie of Maynard; a stepdaughter, Kathleen Myers and her husband, Scott, of Lowell; a brother, Joseph Viscariello and his wife, Ruth, of Concord; a sister, Nancy Javert of Maynard; an uncle, Pasquale Melisi and two aunts, Giovanna and Alice Melisi, all of Concord; 11 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Carolyn Sola.
VISCARIELLO -- On Oct. 31, Frank R. Viscariello, 84, of Concord. The funeral will be held Tuesday, Nov. 4 from the Joseph Dee & Son Funeral Home, 27 Bedford St., Concord Center at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, West Concord, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Concord. Visiting hours will be on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 or to American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
