Joshua Fay Obituary
Fay, Joshua age 54 of Cambridge, MA, formerly of Fitchburg was stricken ill and died at his residence. He leaves his parents Dr. Stuart Fay and Beatrice (Medoff) Fay of Fitchburg, two sisters Rachel Cortez and her husband Luis Cortez of Lexington, MA and Jethra Fay of Waltham, a brother Dr. Aaron Fay and his wife Myriam Wright of Lexington, MA a nephew Jonah Fay and nieces Gabriela and Maya Cortez and Noa and Sophie Fay. He was born in Fitchburg and had lived in Cambridge for many years. He graduated Boston University and attended Georgetown Law School.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 2nd in Congregation Agudat Achim, 268 Washington Street in Leominster under the direction of Richard Perlman of Miles Funeral Home of Holden. Masks and vaccinations are required. Burial will be in Agudas Achim Cemetery on Rollstone Road in Fitchburg. Memorial contributions may be made to Chabad of Greater Boston, 491 Commonwealth Ave, Boston, MA 02215. Who can speak of such sorrow ? Our hearts break for your loss and the pain of your whole family. Joshua was always the first to greet us at any occasion in which we all celebrated together. His enthusiasm was contagious and his love of his family was unrestrained. The world is missing a very special person and this sadness we cannot contain. To Stuart, Bea, Rachel, Aaron & Jethra,
I was so very sad to learn of Joshua´s passing. Please know that we are and will be thinking of you during this difficult time. Please do your best to look after yourselves in the days and weeks ahead. Stuart and Bea, you have always been so special to me from the time I was a child. And we loved the times when you were in Chicago and saw Kara and I for dinner. At every happy family gathering I can always remember a scene with you in my mind´s eye making the occasion more joyous. I wish there were words that would come to mind that would help, but I know there are none. So let me just say we love all of you so much and share in this sorrowful time. May God bless all of you and your individual families. I know of no better people in my life and I pray that peace and some comfort come to all of you very soon.
