Mona Morock Obituary
Mona R. Morock, 61, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2023, at home surrounded by friends and family. Mona was born in Fitchburg on March 3, 1962, a daughter of Therese (Guillmette) Morock and the late Louis Morock. Mona worked for many years at A&E Distributors and spent the past decade working for the Mart Bus Company.
Mona will be fondly remembered for her contagious smile and fun personality. She enjoyed hosting gatherings large and small. She loved spending time with her family and friends at the pool with the ball games on in the background. She truly treasured lunchtimes with friends, gathering with 'the girls", her annual summer party, and the yearly trip to New Jersey with her mother and sister.
Mona is predeceased by her father Louis Morock and her sister Cathy McGuirk. She leaves behind her mother Therese Morock of Fitchburg, her brother Michael Morock of Ashby, nieces Carla, Lauren, and Leah; nephews Billy, Marty, Rob, and Aric; eight great nieces and nephews; many beloved extended family members... and of course, her dog Maddie.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11 am in the Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Road, Fitchburg. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Fitchburg.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 from 4-7 pm in the funeral home.

Good Morning my friend....
Today and tomorrow, we all say our last "goodbye's" to you from here. We can never say goodbye to you in our hearts because you've left an indelible mark on all of us. A good feeling we will carry with us for the rest of our lives here on earth. You've shown each one of us how to be our best and how to handle our worst with grace and dignity. You will be missed intensely by each and every one of us because you loved each and every one of us just as intensely as we loved you. Fly freely now my friend, you are well now. Your sister has been waiting for you patiently..................Our hands and our hearts will forever be outstretched upwardly in search of you, knowing that you will be in heaven watching over us.
We all love you, our sister Mona, rest peacefully.

The Morock family,
You need to know that Mona is one of the BEST FRIENDS I'll ever have. I know that I am NOT the only person that can say that though, there are too many to count. Probably every person she ever met can say that about her. She didn't shun anyone, no matter what/who they were or are.
Remember that we, all of us, where holding her hand and holding her in our hearts on her journey - no matter where it took her, she took a piece of us with her.
She's with her "bestest" of friends now, her sister Cathy, shopping, laughing, and enjoying.
Get some rest now, my friend Mona. Until we can all see each again.

Micheal I am so sorry for you, your mom and family for the loss of Mona. I will always remember her big smile, being the same age growing up just a few minutes away on Pratt Road, seeing her on my walks as I go by the house the dog barks we would say hello and talk for a minute or two.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. keep Mona in your dreams and she will always be with you.

I had the pleasure of working at A&E with Mona for many years. She was a bright spot in my day when I arrived at the office. She was always caring, helpful & pleasant.
Even though I have since retired and moved many miles away I often thought of her & kept in touch
She will be missed.

I worked at A&E for a very long time. Mona and I became pretty close. We shared a lot of stuff. She had the kind of sense of humor that I appreciate. She could take and give with the best of them, especially me. We talked about family a lot. We even talked about God sometimes. She could read me like a novel. I'm so heartbroken to see her gone so young with so much more to do and to give. It just seems unfair to me. My heart and Deb's heart go out to her family. She will always be in my heart. God speed Rock.
