Therese C. Morock

Fitchburg - Therese "Tessie" (Guillemette) Morock, born and raised in Fitchburg, passed on May 13th, 2024 after a recent fall. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis Vincent Morock and her two daughters Cathy McGuirk and Mona Morock and her daughter in law Jean Morock.
Tessie was born January 17th 1932 to Roseda (LaMaire) and Antonio Guillemette, youngest of seven brothers and three sisters on Orchard Street. She was from a musical family and recalled memories of neighbors gathering to listen to them play music on the porch.
Tessie leaves her son Michael Morock of Ashby, five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; Lauren and her husband Aric Davis of Westminster, along with their sons, Jackson and Vinny; Rob and his wife Leah McGuirk of Milton and their children Taylor, Owen and Connor; Marty Morock of Leominster; Billy Curtis of Phillipston and his children Sam and Mia, Carla Bernard of Fitchburg and her son Jack Bennett.
Tessie was active in Saint Joseph's Church and a member of a band, The Burgandy's for many years. She worked the switchboard at Burbank hospital. After her retirement, Tessie continued to be an active member of the church and musical community participating in the PTO shows. She loved watching sports, especially her great grandchildren's. Tessie also played cards at the senior center with her sister Leda Therrien.
Above all, Tessie or Memere as she was known to most, loved her family. She lived a meaningful life and lit up any room she entered with her beautiful smile and cheery disposition.
Calling hours will be held in the Isabelle & Anderson Funeral Home, 316 Clarendon St., Fitchburg on Thursday, May 23, from 10am – 12noon. A funeral service will begin at 12noon. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fitchburg.
