Steven Ruscio Obituary

Steven M. Ruscio formerly of Ashburnham; 59 NORTH TROY, VERMONT Steven Michael Ruscio, 59, of North Troy, Vt., formerly of Ashburnham, died unexpectedly Saturday, June 27, 2009. Steven, son of the late Francesco and Joan (Gaskin) Ruscio, was born April 5, 1950 in Long Branch, N.J. He was raised in N.J. and attended Merrimack College in Andover, MA, graduating valedictorian of his class. He studied for a year as a Rotary Fellow at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland. Steven and his beloved wife Helene settled in Ashburnham, MA , where they raised their family for over 20 years before moving to Vermont in 2001. Steven was a master woodwright who delighted in hosting and cooking for family and friends on any occasion. As busy as he was, the love of his family prevailed over all. Steven will be sadly missed by his beloved wife of nearly 35 years, Helene (Croteau) Ruscio; his children, Lea H. Ruscio, Joseph F. Ruscio and his wife Jory, Aimee C. Ruscio, Christopher A. Ruscio, Kathleen M. Ruscio, and Gregory S. Ruscio; a sister, Maryann T. Ruscio; a brother, Kevin P. Ruscio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
