Ronald Couch Obituary

RONALD C. COUCH - MELBOURNE - Ron Couch, 69, passed away Friday, November 21, 2008 at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Ron was born in Dillon, Montana and moved to Melbourne in 1979 from Alice Springs, Australia. He retired as a Lt. Col. in the U.S. Air Force with 23 years of service and had worked as a quality engineer for Boeing space program for 13 years. Survivors include his wife, Marlene M. Couch of Melbourne; son, Craig Couch of Melbourne; daughter, Savann Lombardi of Hickory, NC; sister, Karen Walker of Beaverton, OR; and grandsons, Anthony and Christian Lombardi. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, November 25th at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the college funds for Rons grandchildren, "Anthony and Christian Lombardi" at: John Hancock Freedom 529, c/o David Sparks, Capitol Concepts, P.O. Box 3509, Hickory, NC 28601. Friends may call at Ron and Marlene's home on Monday, December 3rd from 5-7 p.m. Arrangements by Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. My heart was sadden when I read my e-mail Friday morning that Lt Col Couch had passed away. I have so many fond memories of him and Marlene while we were stationed at Lindsey AS, Germany. May our happy memories help us all in this time of sorrow.
