Daniel Strally Obituary
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday (June 1), at the Palmsaino-Mull Funeral Home LLC, 28 Genesee St. Geneva. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday (June 2), at the New York State Veterans Cemetery (Sampson), Romulus, NY, with full military honors.
In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516, in Dan's memory.
Daniel was born on October 29, 1950, in Waterloo and was a son of Joyce (Kidd) Campbell and the late John Strally. He was a 1969 graduate of Waterloo High School. Dan proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1975. He attended Alfred State and received an Associate's Degree in Electronics Communication. Dan worked for the Seneca Army Depot from 1984 to 98, then went to work in the IT Dept. at Hobart and William Smith Colleges, where he retired. After retirement, he spent his days busier than ever, with his grandchildren, in the garden, on the mower and visiting his many friends and family members, especially his 93 "years young" mother. Dan was always on the go, stopping in at HWS to show off the latest grandbaby pictures and have a quick chat, then on to the next "job" or project. He was a staple in the community and the glue of his family. Dan was loved by so many. He was known for his acts of service, ability to fix anything, even if it took him months and hours of youtube videos. Most of all, Dan possessed infinite and everlasting love of his daughters and grandchildren.
Dan is survived by his wife, Michael (Hudson) Strally; daughters Danielle (Lucas) Maslyn, Samantha (Ryan) Clemenson and honorary daughter Crystal Nunez; mother, Joyce Campbell; grandchildren, Jackson and Dominick, Paul, Neva and Nash, Xavier, Zyla and Mazzy; brothers, George (Margie) Strally, Samuel (Janet) Strally and Steve Strally; sisters, Kathy (James) Robson and Alice Burton; uncle Wayne (Helen) Kidd and many nieces, nephews cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, he was predeceased by his step-father, Earl Campbell and sister-in-law, Marietta Strally.

Deepest sympathy. Dan was a great guy, worked with him at the Seneca Army Depot in the communication center, At the age of forty 45, Dan Me And Jed Haws rode our Bicycles from Waterloo the the Catskill Mountain. It was a trip of a life time.. Rest In Peace Dan.. Great knowing you.

Keeping your family in our thoughts and sending you peace. At HWS, Dan would pop in and we both enjoyed hearing his stories of the grandkids - he so delighted in them- and looked forward to asparagus from his garden annually which he always so proudly and generously shared!
